Reindeer Cookies

Suggested adaptation: Use a different cookie that doesn’t have peanut butter. Due to allergies, many schools are “peanut free zones.”

Marshmallow Snowmen

Suggested adaptation: Skip the chocolate melting step . . . tell kids to rip the marshmallow a little bit and the chocolate chips will stick with no problem.

Grinch Kabobs

Suggestion: Avoid extra prep work beforehand by providing small group leaders with protective food handling gloves, a paper plate and a plastic knife to cut the strawberries and bananas during the snack assembly time.

DIY Nativity

Suggested adaptation: Use any variation of supplies you like for this activity. Encourage kids to be creative and use whatever snack supplies you have available to build a nativity with characters.
