Simon Says

Objective: To be the team with the most remaining players at the end

Materials: None

How to Play: Have all students line up shoulder to shoulder at one end of the gym or playing area. Divide them into two teams at the middle. Explain that the goal of this game is to listen for the TRUTH! The TRUTH is whatever Simon commands. The leader will give commands and the students must follow the commands, but only if the leader says “Simon Says. . . “ For example, if the leader says, “Simon says hop up and down three times” all the players should hop up and down three times. If the leader doesn’t start with “Simon Says” and a student follows the command, they must sit down. Leaders can help watch for any students who make mistakes. All other players may take a step forward. Play continues until players reach the opposite end of the gym or playing area. Whichever team had the most players reach the end wins.
