For families and schools, all Crossroads Kids Clubs are completely free! There are no fees for registration or participation. For churches, everything that Crossroads provides you—from the curriculum, personalized coaching and training to our mobile application as well as club registration and management tools—is also offered free of charge. We are a donor-funded ministry and want to serve churches and communities at all different levels of economic means. Local churches generally cover minor costs for items like snacks and club materials.

A Crossroads Kids Club typically meets once a week for 90 minutes, although the specific day and time may vary depending on the school and the availability of leaders. Clubs generally meet for about 30 weeks per year and follow the school calendar. Clubs meet on various days and in a variety of settings from gyms to classrooms. You can find the details for specific clubs on our registration page.

There are four main components of each Kids Club.

Opening Small Group (15–20 minutes)
Children are welcomed into small groups, check in with their leader, and engage in a fun activity to build relationships and set a positive tone for the day.

Large Group Lesson (15–20 minutes)
Small groups come together for a Bible story, often introduced through songs, games, or skits, to engage children in the lesson.

Games (20–25 minutes)
Children participate in fun, active games designed to teach teamwork and cooperation, with leaders ensuring safety and inclusivity.

Closing Small Group (25–30 minutes)
Children return to small groups to discuss and apply the lesson, wrapping up with a safe dismissal to their designated caretaker.

At Crossroads Kids Club, your child will learn valuable life lessons through interactive Bible stories, games, and activities designed to encourage teamwork, cooperation, and positive relationships. They’ll explore themes like kindness, respect, perseverance, and forgiveness, while also deepening their understanding of the Christian faith. Small-group discussions provide opportunities for children to apply what they’ve learned to their own lives, fostering personal growth and character development. Above all, Kids Club is a place where your child can experience the love of Jesus in a safe, fun, and supportive environment.

No, Crossroads Kids Club is not affiliated with any specific denomination. We partner with a wide range of Christian churches from various backgrounds, united by the common goal of sharing the Good News of Jesus with children and helping them grow in their faith. Our focus is on teaching biblical principles that a wide variety of Christian denominations can embrace, making our program accessible to churches and families of different traditions.

Yes, parents must provide written consent for their children to participate in Crossroads Kids Club. This ensures that parents are informed and supportive of their child’s involvement and complies with guidance on the separation of church and state as parents are the ones responsible for their children’s faith formation. Generally, you may register online or using a paper form provided at each location.

We encourage children to attend as consistently as possible to build relationships with their small group and to receive the maximum benefit from the program. However, if your child cannot attend every week, that’s okay! Early pickups are allowed, but we encourage families to schedule around the 90-minute club session for the best experience. Once signed up, we will expect your child each week for the full 90 minutes unless you tell us otherwise. Please communicate your situation with the leader at your child’s club.

To start a club, you’ll typically need at least five adult leaders. This includes one team leader and several small group leaders, depending on the number of children attending. The team leader oversees the program, and small group leaders engage directly with the kids in discussion and activities.

Absolutely! Crossroads Kids Club provides a robust curriculum designed to engage children with biblical truths in fun and interactive ways. Yes, all leaders and volunteers must complete a thorough background check before participating in Crossroads Kids Club. Many local school districts also conduct their own background screenings as an added layer of security. Additionally, Crossroads provides training to ensure that all team interactions with children are monitored and that every club offers a safe, positive, and healthy environment. Ensuring the safety of the children is our highest priority.

While our goal is to create lessons and games that keep disruptions to a minimum, we understand that challenges may arise. We recommend using positive reinforcement and setting clear expectations to guide behavior. Crossroads offers specific training to help club leaders manage groups and handle disruptions in a calm, loving manner, ensuring that discipline reflects the club’s values of respect and encouragement. Our team is also available to provide coaching and support for navigating specific behavioral challenges.
