Object of the Game
To be the last one with an unpopped balloon.
Equipment Needed
- 1 inflated balloon per student
- 1 paper plate per student
How to Play
- Give each player an inflated balloon and a paper plate.
- Choose two students to be the “busters.” Busters do not receive a balloon or plate.
- The goal of the busters is to pop any balloons that hit the floor.
- All other players use their paper plates to keep their balloons in the air.
- If a player’s balloon hits the floor, they may use the paper plate to get it back in the air, but if a buster catches the balloon on the ground first, the buster pops it.
- Any player whose balloon is popped becomes a new buster.
- Continue playing until only one player remains with an unpopped balloon.
Winning
The last player with an unpopped balloon is the winner.
Pro Tips
- Remind players to be gentle with the balloons and avoid swinging the paper plates too hard.
- For a fun twist, add obstacles or allow busters to move around quickly to make balloon-saving more challenging.
- Consider using music to increase the game’s intensity and excitement.
