Being organized for religious purposes, the Corporation’s board members, leaders, staff, and those who facilitate our programs and events shall affirm and abide by our Statement of Faith. Though we are a non-denominational, faith-based organization, there is no requirement or expectation that attendees of our events share our faith, or that they claim faith at all.

The Bible

We believe that the Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God. The Scriptures as contained in the Old and New Testaments are the final authority for the Christian faith and practice. We strive to live out our Christian faith in light of God’s revelation in the Holy Scriptures.

God

We believe that there is but one living and true God who is infinite in holiness, all powerful, and all knowing. He exists externally as three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—each equal in glory and power. This triune God created all, sustains all, and rules all.

Humanity

We believe that God created people in his image; therefore, every person possesses dignity and value and is worthy of compassion, kindness, respect, and love.  We will affirm this God-given dignity by respecting and caring for human life, from conception to death.

Sin

We believe that God created people to be in a loving relationship with him and with one another, innocent of sin and with freedom of choice. The first people, Adam and Eve, chose to disobey God, bringing sin to the human race. Because of their original sin, we have all inherited a sinful nature, which separates us from God and one another. This nature leads each of us to rebel against God, and aside from forgiveness and new life in Jesus, the result is an eternal separation from God.

The Savior

We believe that Jesus of Nazareth is the Son of God. He is one person with both human and divine natures—fully God and fully man—conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. He came to earth, lived a perfect life, and died on a cross for the sins of the world. After three days, he rose again from the dead to conquer death and offer eternal life to all who put their trust in him. Because of Jesus’ sacrifice, people can once again have a relationship with God and receive the gift of eternal life through faith. Jesus ascended to heaven and sat down at the right hand of the Father where he is acting as the mediator between God and humanity, continually making intercessions for his people. One day, he will come again in power and glory to rule over all creation.

The Holy Spirit

We believe that repentance from sin and personally accepting the sacrifice of Jesus’ death by faith is the only way to be delivered from sin and its consequences and to be set free to glorify God and enjoy him forever. This repentance and faith are gifts from God and are only possible because of his immeasurable grace.

The Unity of The Body

We believe the truths contained in the creed commonly known as the “Apostles’ Creed,” and we seek to promote unity among the body of Christ by accepting and loving those who both love Jesus and affirm the truths of this creed.

Marriage and Gender

We believe that man and woman are special creations of God, made in his own image, and endowed with a gender that is genetically encoded and manifested physiologically prior to birth. We believe that marriage is the union of one man and one woman, and that marriage and the family are the foundation of civil society.
